Last Sunday, hubby and I bought a Monopoly set. I wanted to teach Kylie the concept of money, so I decided to buy a Monopoly set to play and at the same time, teach her the concept of money.

She is going to be in Primary 1 next year and I wanted to teach her how to buy food in the school canteen. That is my main aim in playing the Monopoly set.

I have tried to teach her how to order food, get the food, pay the money and get the small change (if any). She knows how to order her food (although she speaks very softly), get the food and pay the money. But she doesn’t know how much to pay and how much money she should get back. So I hope I can teach her all these before she goes into Primary 1.
