As scheduled, I took Kyson to the clinic early in the morning for his MMR vaccination. Since we were already there yesterday, the trip to the clinic today is solely for injection. The nurse is not going to check his well being or check his progress milestone today, as all these were done yesterday (he was asleep when the nurse checked him or to be exact, when the nurse questioned me).

We didn’t have to wait long today. We bypassed the time consuming registration process and progress milestone process. We just have to wait for his turn to be vaccinated.

Kyson is awake today when the nurse called his name. I took him into the room. The nurse pressed firmly on his leg and Kyson didn’t like it. He got angry when I too had to press firmly on his leg. Then when the nurse injected the vaccine on his left thigh, he felt the pain and cried a little. When the nurse took out the needle, he is quiet once again. Good boy! He is better this round but I was still hoping he could be as brave as his eldest sister, Kylie. She has never cried when she was vaccinated.
