My little boy is 1 year old today. He woke up early, wetting his pants and our mattress because his disposable diaper leaks. It is time for me to change his diaper to a bigger size. He is currently wearing M size.
Today, hubby and I took him to the clinic for his MMR vaccination and bi-monthly checkup. Unfortunately, the government’s clinic will only inject MMR vaccine on every Thursday. I was unhappy because I have to return to the clinic again tomorrow (also equates to late reaching workplace) while on the other hand I was happy because Kyson is sparred from being vaccinated on his birthday.
Kyson’s statistic at 1 year old
Height: 76 cm (although the nurse measured him as 77 cm)
Weight: 9.5kg
He is growing on the average scale according to the chart I plotted. He ate a lot of porridge, two times a day. Sometimes, he wanted more and we fed him cereal. He loves to drink breast milk, but only when I am the one feeding him (I mean direct breastfeeding). Until today, he rejects drinking breast milk from bottle (although not totally) and prefers drinking plain water to milk.
I also took the opportunity to weigh myself. My aim is to achieve 52kg when Kyson is 1 year old but looks like instead of reducing my weight, I increased to 56.3 kg. It is far worst than what I expected. I was hoping that I could be weighing at 55 kg and below if not 52 kg. Sigh! It seems like I have to check out the lipoquick reviews to source for weight loss tips.
There won’t be any birthday celebration today, as we have celebrated for him last Sunday. It was a mini celebration among family members. Kyson is indeed very happy when we sang birthday song in three languages for him and he had the opportunity to cut his very first Winnie the Pooh cake mommy bought for him.
P/S: Today is also Moon Cake or Lantern festival day.
