When Kylie was 3 years old, she had her first preschool concert performance. I paid less than RM35 for her concert costume. Her class teacher bought a bare-back red polka dot dress for her. She adores this dress and she could still fit into this dress 3 years later.

When she was 4 years old, she was a fairy in the year-end concert performance and hence her class teacher requested me to buy a beautiful white gown instead of paying to the school the costume money. Since, I am the one buying the fairy dress, Kylie loves wearing it and she could still fit into it now.

Then last year, when Kylie was 5 years old, I paid RM45 for her concert costume. She participated in the Hindi dance and I was surprised when she brought back the yellow and black 2-piece sexy costumes. That costume was the most expensive and she could not wear it to anywhere else. What a waste of money. It was tailor made according to her size and worn once only.

And this year end will be her graduation concert. I wonder what type of dance and costume she will be performing and wearing? I hope it won’t be a waste of money again.

P/S: She told me her teacher taught her 2 dances. Oh No! Does this also means I have to be prepared to buy 2 concert costumes for her?
