
This is what we eat for breakfast five days in a week. Only during weekends, our breakfast is NOT bread. We needed “time off” from eating bread. Darn bored if eats bread for breakfast everyday.
Bread making has been my alternate night routine. The timer is set and the breadmaker will start kneading in the wee hours the next day. Then I will have fresh homemade bread early next morning.
I have tried many varieties of bread and I find it easier to make wholemeal bread and healthier to eat too.
Here’s the recipe.
200 ml of water
70 ml of hot water
25 g of brown sugar
1 tsp of salt
50 g of butter
2 cups of high protein flour
2 cups of wholemeal wheat flour
3 tsp of yeast
