Recently we noticed that De’Little Ones love to draw or scribble before they went to sleep. Kylie would draw stars and moon, but Kylin, still not as good as her sister, would just scribble on a piece of paper. Since both of them like to draw at night, we decided to improve our indoor lighting, […]
Cookies mould receipt
Thanks to my friend, Umie, for buying the cookies mould from Takashimaya in Yokohama, Japan. She searched few places and finally found them. She bought two boxes for me and another two boxes for our friend.
Each box comes with two moulds and the cost of one box was 630 Yen (around RM20) after the 5% tax.
Here’s the receipt and I’ll slowly post the […]
Free water
Effective from 1st of June 2008, Selangor consumers will enjoy free water for the first 20 cubic meters of usage. I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to the new Selangor government for such move to reduce people’s burden. This implementation will benefit most of the low income earners, such as me , who usually do not use […]
Can I take off my shirt?
Kylie is going to turn 4 years old next month. Time really flies especially when you see your own kids growing older each year. She is more understanding, less demanding and asking me lots of questions.
Kylie: Can I take off my shirt?
Me: No.
Kylie: Why I cannot take off my shirt?
Me: Because you are a […]
Benefits of rugs
I bought a big rectangular teddy bear rug from cheap area rugs sales few years ago to decorate the master bedroom. The room was rather empty back then (since I just moved into the house before I had De’Little Ones) but now, the room is full of furniture, toys and books. I hardly had enough space to fit all the things in […]
Children’s bracelet
This bracelet is not an ordinary children’s charm bangle bracelet with yellow, white and rose color dangling hearts. It is a medical id bracelet worn by baby or children. Medical information can be engraved onto the bracelet itself. It looks so beautiful to an untrained eye, in a way which is good, as it will […]
Climbing up the stairs
Working in a high rise building has its own advantages. We, a group of female, have been making full use of the staircase, not daily, but at least twice a week, to climb up the staircase from the ground floor to the highest floor after working hours.
Why am I climbing up the staircase? Sure you […]

Disney’s Mickey Mouse
Looks like not De’Little Ones are crazy over the Animated Talking Lamp, but mommy is. Mommy bought another Animated Talking Lamp and this lamp was for Kylin. Both of them fought over the Pooh and getting another lamp would solve the fighting. Definitely I didn’t buy the Pooh lamp again. This time it was Disney’s Mickey […]
A short trip
Up! Up! Up! We are finally going up to Genting Highlands. Finally hubby agreed to go up to Genting Highlands and we (hubby, me and the two little girls) are going to meet my friend up there. She and her family will be driving all the way from Penang to Genting Highlands and she has […]
Pooh! Pooh! Pooh!
“Pooh! Pooh! Pooh!” was what Kylin said every day in the morning when she saw the Animated Talking Lamp. She recognized Disney’s Winnie the Pooh character and love pressing the button on the lamp. She would be clapping her hands and swaying her body left and right until Pooh stopped singing. She enjoyed pressing the […]
A trip to the zoo
This photo was taken two years ago. We took Kylie to the Zoo when she was about 2 years old. She was very brave whole day long and she was playing with all the animals at the petting corner. She touched the snake and the bird, pulled the goat’s tail and the pony’s tail. She wanted to sit on […]
Coffee shop: in or out?
My hubby was aiming to do his own business since many years ago. Recently, one of his friends came and proposed a joint business venture to open a kopitiam (coffee shop) at a busy commercial area. This proposed joint venture has attracted a lot of hubby’s interest. He spent a lot of time and effort to […]
Cookies mould
I am looking forward to seeing my friend coming back from Japan next week. I have asked her to buy the Disney’s cookies mould for me and I hope she will remember and able to find the mould. I like the Kitty’s and Pooh’s mould when I saw them at Chin Nee’s blog. I calculated […]
Irresistible tea break
After relocating to the new office building, my lifestyle changed especially in the evening. I was not the only one but in fact some of my colleagues experienced some lifestyle changed too. Back in those days before relocation, we had nothing much to eat in the afternoon since the office was located near the “jungle”. […]
Eyeglass
Hubby and I wear glasses and I am afraid that Kylie will have to wear glasses at a very young age too. She stood quite near to the TV when watching cartoons and we had to keep on reminding her to sit far away from the TV set. But within minutes, she would be moving […]
Air purifiers for children’s bedroom
We all know that pollution has detrimental effects on our health, but there are some who are more vulnerable. Children, the elderly and those afflicted by lung and heart diseases should refrain from spending too much time outdoors in areas that are known to have air pollutions. However, even if we stay indoors all the […]
How to recover from cough and flu?
Thought of sharing this little discovery I had but try at your own risk. It worked well for my two daughters and it may or may not be effective for your little children.
Remember that I was always complaining that De’Little Ones constantly getting sick. If the elder child is sick, the younger sure will fall […]
Cheap toys or expensive toys?
Do you buy toys for your children to play? I do and I think you do too. But my brother once told me that his child’s doctor never buys toys for his children to play. Instead, the doctor gave different shapes, colors and sizes of empty medicine bottles to his children and those were the […]
The frog
Last week, a frog was stranded in the living room at my in-law’s house while Kylie was having her dinner. The frog was climbing on the wall near the TV and was searching for its way out through the window. Kylie heard the commotion and ran to the living room. She stood very near to the […]
