We all got sick since middle of April and all of them recovered except me. I am still coughing and have been taking medicine since then. Then yesterday I started to have flu and I pity hubby as he has to take care the 2 little girls while I slept in a separate room. I tried to […]
Labor day
Tomorrow is labor day, a public holiday, and I supposed everybody will be at home enjoying or outside shopping, if you don’t mind the crowd, or taking another day off on Friday to enjoy the 4 days off from work. My brother-in-law and his wife took Friday off and they are going for a short […]
ED (part 2)
My close friend initially suspected that her husband-to-be was having ED. She managed to convince him to see a doctor and I don’t know how she managed to do that. The doctor recommended generic cialis to him but he isn’t taking it. Why? My friend also don’t know.
P/S: Thanks to some readers who took the trouble to recommend […]
Benefits of peppermint
Do you know the benefits of this peppermint plant?
From what I heard from my grandma and from my parents, they are good to cure cough. Is it true?
As a child, I used to take peppermint drink after my grandma double boiled the peppermint leaves for few hours whenever I had cough. It is effective for me.
Now, […]
Getting a dog
I thought of getting a dog for De’Little Ones to play with. Hubby, on the other hand, disagreed. He said the girls are still too young and we wouldn’t have time to take good care of the dog. We don’t even have much time to play with De’Little Ones now. So how can we take […]
Designing my own card
I’ve just tried out to design my own business card for fun and free from LogoYes. The creation process is so easy and flexible. It can be completed in 6 simple steps, as below, and I can click on any of the steps to redo.
One: Choose an image
Two: Specify the industry
Three: Select a symbol
Four: Enter the logo […]
Do your children love stickers? – Part 2
I bought a sticker book for De’Little Ones recently. She peeled and pasted more than 10 stickers in just a few seconds. She finished pasting the stickers everywhere on her toys within an hour and requested us to buy another book for her. The book cost us $3 and hubby said he used to work part-time during his schooling days, earning only $5 a day, […]
Alone again
Hubby went to his friend’s house warming party last Saturday. He went while I looked after De’Little Ones. He went in the evening and came back after midnight. It was unusual of him to spend so many hours away when he rather spends his time with De’Little Ones. When I asked him, he said he watched a movie there. His […]
Second hand car
Hubby and I went to see second hand imported cars yesterday. We spotted one MPV that came with the Ford grill and hubby loves the MPV so much. Hubby said it was a good buy but I hestitated. I didn’t like the MPV color. I preferred bright color vehicle and hence we went home empty handed since we couldn’t come to an […]
If I have 25 hours
If you have 25 hours a day and you are spending the extra one hour in the park, what would you do?
A young boy playing soccer in the park, may want to spend his extra hour playing his favorite game.
A small kid flying kite in the park, may want to spend more time flying kite. This […]
Learning how to walk
My little girl is now learning how to walk, but she still needs us to hold her hand. Here’s a picture of her wearing her eldest sister’s old shoes. Some can walk as early as 9 months old or as late as 18 months or even more. My eldest started walking at 13 months old […]
My growing belly
Sometimes I really feel like I am a mama penguin, being a short mama and having a big waist. The best moment or rather “excuse” would be when I was 2x pregnant with De’Little Ones. That was when I could proudly show off my growing belly without feeling fat. Now that I saw other pregnant […]
Marmite chicken
I have been eating marmite since I was a little baby and same goes to De’Little Ones too. Recently, my boss resigned and we gave him a farewell lunch. One of the dishes ordered was Marmite Chicken.
It taste so good that I decided to try it out.
Marinade the chicken with 1 big spoonful of marmite, some dark and […]
Six Sigma Training
My friend, who is under stress due to the new management team in her office, is given the opportunity to attend the Six Sigma Training. Isn’t she lucky? How I wish I am given such opportunity to attend too to gain more knowledge. I wonder when? Hopefully after the training, she will be stress free.
Attacking the staircase
Now that little Kylin is over 1 year old, and she has just mastered crawling about two months ago, she is attacking the staircase whenever she is given the opportunity.
I will encourage her to climb but with my supervision of course. But last week, while I was out plucking some fresh peppermint leaves, she climbed up […]
My little shredder
Do your kids like to cut papers into small pieces? I think all kids like to do that. My little Kylie sometimes would just take a piece of paper and a pair of scissors and start cutting. Since I knew that she likes to play (I think ‘play’ should be a more appropriate word than ‘do’), I […]
Our lime (limau nipis) tree
We didn’t plan to plant this lime tree in our little editable garden. But some how it grew by itself. Hubby believe it must be the job of the bird dropping the lime seed in our little garden. Since it grew so well, we decided to keep it till now. It is about 3 years old now and it has begun […]
Work or stay at home?
One of my good friends contacted me recently and we chatted for long hours. She is still working despite being a mother of three growing up children. I seeked her opinion and how she managed to handle her career so well and how she took good care of her children at the same time. Thanks for sharing with me all […]
My new flower rack
We went to Ikea a month ago and we bought a cheap rack. We fixed it up 2 weeks ago and decorated the rack with flowers and plants after stealing the idea from one of my colleagues when she showed us her house garden photos.
Kylin’s birthday
Kylin just celebrated her 1 year old birthday not long ago. I was planning to throw a birthday party but hubby decided not to. He dislike the hassle of cleaning up the house (not that he had to) after a party. So we invited only family members.
A picture of Kylin on her birthday. She dislike […]
