The weather is so hot lately. I am in an air-conditioning office and yet I am sweating. Some said it is due to the centralized air-con unit not functioning properly while some said it is due to the weather outside the office building. I am already tying up my hair to prevent hair fall and […]

A few days before Kyson was born, hubby’s hand phone suddenly stopped functioning. I was very worried at that time and insisted that he bought a new phone asap. What came through my mind was “What if I wanted to deliver baby and could not contact him?”. So he decided to scout for a new […]

Have you cut already?

The recent local broadband advertisements really grab my attention. I like the P1’s “Cut Already” advertisements. But soon later, TM (local largest wire connected broadband provider) countered back with advertisement showing a man who appears fed-up with his wireless connectivity and is contemplating throwing his modem and laptop out of the window.
I was in the […]

I hope it is still not too late to do online backup for all the photos in my computer. My friend found a virus on one of my pictures when he helped to download the pictures from my thumb drive, which I copied from my computer. But first of all, I have to download the […]

In conjunction with PIKOM PC FAIR 2, held on 31 July - 2 August 2009 at KL Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, my brother-in-law went there after work on Friday and bought a netbook for RM970.00. He lost almost all his beloved belongings (camera, laptop, wine etc.) when his house was broken into last year. Since […]

A scary neighborhood to live in! Why I said that? In less than two weeks, I knew of 4 robberies, all happening surrounding me.
First was my neighbor’s house that was broken into during Deepavali day. Four days later, my brother-in-law was robbed and attacked by 2 Malay men. They were pretending to ask for direction […]

The beauty of Internet

Having Internet access, be it at home, in the schools, offices, shopping complexes, restaurants etc., has become a “must have” for me. Living without it means lesser opportunities to earn more money/free products, lesser knowledge to be gained, more time wasted traveling to buy things or getting errands done. Internet is like a “free dictionary”. […]

Are you tired of dropped calls, missed calls or loss of business deals due to weak cell signals either in your home, office building or vehicle? What causes the weak cell signals? Cell signals depend on the load or usage on the cell tower. The heavier the usage, for example, the more users or the […]

Hubby used to tell me that it wasn’t easy for him to look for the right tools and accessories for his former company until he saw this air tools website recently. How easy life would be if he found this website at that time, while he worked as a manager there. He wouldn’t be having […]

My hubby has been looking for a new TV since last year. At that time, the trend was big and slim LCD panel TV, about 32 inches wide. The prices were around RM3,999 to RM6,599 and they were not fully HDTVs.
But look at the new and full HDTV nowadays! Their prices are just around RM4,000 […]

When we didn’t own a computer, we worked hard to own one. Then when we had a desktop computer at home, we fought who should be sitting in front of the monitor and had the privilege of surfing the net. We fought only during weekends and not during weekdays because we were too tired during […]

After using my notebook for less than a year, I noticed the performance of my notebook is getting slower and slower. Hubby said it was due to the software or applications I installed onto this new notebook that requires lots of memory when I run few of them at the same time. And since this […]

Hubby bought a notebook early of this year for me to blog and recently, the performance of the notebook dropped significantly. After checking with hubby, he said it was due to the applications I installed, as they “ate” up lots of memory. Hubby bought an old model notebook for me and upgrading the system memory […]

Hubby went to his friend’s house warming party last Saturday. He went while I looked after De’Little Ones. He went in the evening and came back after midnight. It was unusual of him to spend so many hours away when he rather spends his time with De’Little Ones. When I asked him, he said he watched a movie there. His […]

Finally my husband got our computer fixed. He said it was due to the ‘power supply’ malfunctioned. Luckily not the hard disc, else all my beautiful pictures and videos of De’Little Ones will be gone. I have learnt my lesson well - will do a backup soon.
The spoilt ‘power supply’ unit in our old faithful computer.
