Valentine‘s Day is the day where many couples will normally choose to dine out at romantic restaurants to celebrate their endless love and express their appreciation for each others. But many couples face the problem of where to dine on this special occasion. If you are a New Yorker, this issue can be easily […]
Shortly after the company I worked with relocated, my BIG boss bought a new Saeco Primea Cappuccino machine for all of us to brew and dispense one or two cups of coffee daily. The dealer gave all of us a briefing on how to use and clean the cappuccino machine on the first day the […]
Hubby bought 5 persimmon fruits from the morning market today. After dinner, hubby cut two persimmon fruits as dessert.
This was Kylin’s first time eating persimmon. You know what? This little picky eater just loves it. She kept on pulling my hand which was holding a slice of persimmon towards her mouth. It seems like we […]
With the way that I am eating, which is eating whatever and whenever I want to, makes me fat. Friends have been asking me to watch my diet and take good care of my body but I live to eat and not eat to live. I want to look slim but with the way I […]
The current scandal over China’s milk powder is really freaking me out. De’Little Ones, especially Kylin, are still so young and she is drinking milk three times a day. For adults, we can avoid consuming milk or milk related products. But for children and baby, they cannot live without milk powder. I just checked - […]
It has been more than a month since I last made cookies for De’Little Ones. The last time I tried, the dough turns up too soft. So I couldn’t use the Hello Kitty mould to press the cookies. I must have used the wrong recipe.
Christmas is not too far away and I am planning to […]
A dragon fruit tree @ the backyard of my in-law’s house. Also known as Costa Rica Pitaya or H. polyrhizus. It is a red-skinned fruit with red flesh.
A closed up picture of the flower before it blooms.
The flower is attracting lots of ants.
The flower only blooms at night at around 8 pm to 10 pm. […]
We had Hi-Tea buffet at Seasons Cafe, Grand Season Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on Merdeka day and we paid RM15.00 only for two adults. The usual price was more than RM55++ per pax. De’Little Ones had their hi-tea for FREE. So worth it. It was a special hi-tea buffet package my brother-in-law bought from his company.
Here are the eight steps to maintain a youthful skin, which I think that they are simple and effective.
Drink six to eight glasses of water daily.
Shower or bathe for no longer than 10 minutes.
Keep your skin well moisturized after the bathe.
Apply sun cream with minimum SPF value of 15.
Eat balanced diet - carbohydrates, protein and […]
Last Thursday evening, Little Kylin was down with high fever. My sister-in-law called us when we were on our way home from work. We took her to the nearest clinic immediately.
I suspected hand, foot and mouth disease, as Kylie caught the Coxsackie virus from her preschool a week ago. Kylie had one ulcer on the […]
Thanks to my friend, Umie, for buying the cookies mould from Takashimaya in Yokohama, Japan. She searched few places and finally found them. She bought two boxes for me and another two boxes for our friend.
Each box comes with two moulds and the cost of one box was 630 Yen (around RM20) after the 5% tax.
Here’s the receipt and I’ll slowly post the […]
I am looking forward to seeing my friend coming back from Japan next week. I have asked her to buy the Disney’s cookies mould for me and I hope she will remember and able to find the mould. I like the Kitty’s and Pooh’s mould when I saw them at Chin Nee’s blog. I calculated […]
After relocating to the new office building, my lifestyle changed especially in the evening. I was not the only one but in fact some of my colleagues experienced some lifestyle changed too. Back in those days before relocation, we had nothing much to eat in the afternoon since the office was located near the “jungle”. […]
Thought of sharing this little discovery I had but try at your own risk. It worked well for my two daughters and it may or may not be effective for your little children.
Remember that I was always complaining that De’Little Ones constantly getting sick. If the elder child is sick, the younger sure will fall […]
As usual, we woke up early to take Kylin for her routine medical checkup today. We were always very concern about her weight and were relieved after knowing she gained a few pounds since the last visit to the clinic three months ago. At least she is still slightly above the malnutrition level.
Her appetite […]
What do I missed most in Penang? Food, food, and food. And the food I missed most is Penang Hokkien Mee aka Prawn Noodle. Anything else that I miss? Definitely my family, my relatives, and all my friends in Penang.
The moment that I missed most was during Chinese New Year. I know this is not […]
I’m back to gardening and this is my chili plant. I hope this chili plant will grow well and will not die off. I have tried to plant many chili plants but it just wouldn’t grow in my garden. Either the birds will eat the young plants or the snails or pesticide will attack them. Only this […]
I have always wanted to have three children and I am looking forward to be pregnant once again with the third and the last child. We hope we would be able to support all of them, to give them the best of everything we could afford. We hope we could cope with the inflation and still […]
I am hoping little Kylin will not get sick this time by drinking one fresh orange juice a day. I am hoping her immune system will be stronger to fight off the cough and flu virus from her elder sister. So far so good and I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
… continued from More rice…please.
Then when it was near to 4 pm, it started to drizzle. I had to tell her the bad news and poor Kylie, sobbing softly at the corner of the staircase. Upon seeing her sad face, my heart melts. I drove her out, despite the drizzle, to the pool. I asked […]
